Nightwolves announce M’Angelo “Coach Lo” Harris as Defensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach

The Northwest Nightwolves are proud to announce M’Angelo “Coach Lo” Harris as Defensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach as the Developmental Football Association prepares for its Spring 2026 launch.
Coach Harris brings elite playing credentials, championship experience, and more than two decades of coaching leadership to the Nightwolves staff. His background reflects a deep understanding of defensive football, accountability, and winning culture at every level of the game.
Following high school, Harris earned a two year starting role at the junior college level before receiving a Division II scholarship. He later transitioned into semi pro football, where his career was defined by sustained excellence and team success. As a player, Harris was part of five league championships, one national championship, earned league wide recognition as the best at his position, and received four all star selections.
His success carried seamlessly into coaching. Harris has led defenses to league finals, league championships, and a national championship, reinforcing his reputation as a coach who prepares players to execute at the highest level when it matters most.
With more than 20 years of coaching experience, Harris has developed athletes across multiple levels of football and is currently serving as Defensive Coordinator at Hopkins High School. His approach emphasizes discipline, communication, and situational awareness, with a strong focus on fundamentals, effort, and accountability.
As Defensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach, Harris will oversee defensive systems, player development, and in game execution while supporting overall team leadership and culture. He will work closely with the Head Coach and General Manager to ensure defensive identity aligns with the Nightwolves’ organizational standards and competitive goals.
Coach Harris brings a defensive philosophy rooted in physicality, preparation, and trust. He believes great defenses are built through repetition, cohesion, and players who take ownership of their responsibilities. His presence strengthens the Nightwolves commitment to building a disciplined, competitive program capable of contending from day one.
With Coach Harris joining the staff, the Northwest Nightwolves continue to assemble a leadership group grounded in experience, championships, and football credibility.
