Minneapolis Warhawks Name Meagan Sims General Manager Ahead of DFA Spring 2026 Launch

The Minneapolis Warhawks are proud to announce Meagan Sims as General Manager of the franchise as the Developmental Football Association prepares for its Spring 2026 launch.

Sims joins the Warhawks front office bringing a strong business foundation and a collaborative leadership mindset focused on building sustainable, well run organizations. Originally from Red Wing, Minnesota and currently residing in St. Paul, she holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Marketing and an emphasis in Sales from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire.

Her leadership approach centers on collaboration, accountability, and empowering people to perform at their best both on and off the field. She is driven by building systems that support growth, consistency, and a positive experience across the organization.

Sims was introduced to the Minneapolis Warhawks through her husband and was immediately drawn to the passion, community, and vision surrounding the organization. She is motivated by the opportunity to apply her business expertise to help strengthen operations and elevate the overall experience for players, fans, and partners.

As General Manager, Sims will lead business operations and game day execution for the Warhawks. Her responsibilities include operational coordination, logistics, communication, and ensuring the organization operates in alignment with DFA systems and league standards. She will work closely with the Head Coach to assist with roster management while maintaining a clear separation between football operations and business leadership.

Sims’ vision for the Warhawks is to help establish a culture that is inclusive, competitive, and grounded in integrity and sportsmanship. She aims to build an environment where players are proud to compete and supporters feel genuinely connected to the team and the league.

A lifelong Minnesota Vikings fan with an appreciation for Florida State football, Sims enjoys grilling, golfing, boating, baking sourdough, and being a dedicated dog mom. One experience that reflects her adventurous spirit is scuba diving at the Great Barrier Reef.

With Sims in the General Manager role, the Minneapolis Warhawks continue to lay a strong operational foundation focused on professionalism, community engagement, and long term success.
